2010 Frazier Memento
Memento was founded with the 2000 vintage when a Master of Wine tasted a blend of our best barrels at a trade only tasting in St. Helena and remarked that it was the best wine in the room. This noted individual tasted the wine and asked what the name of this wine was. At that point it was only an assemblage of our best lots from the 2000 vintage and was never intended too make it into production so we had no answer. After a little bit of persuasion and a lot of careful thought we decided to introduce a reserve program into our line of wines and name it Memento.
"A blend of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon and equal parts Cabernet Franc and Merlot, the 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Memento’s color is less opaque compared to the basic Cabernet Sauvignon. It exhibits toasty oak, vanillin, a broad, rich, fleshy mouthfeel, and a structured finish....it is...a serious wine. Forget it for 3-4 years and drink it over the following 15 years."

2010 Frazier Cabernet Sauvignon
"The inky/ruby/purple-tinged 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon possesses a big, bold, exuberant, chocolaty, blackberry, gamy, meaty bouquet, lots of concentration and richness, sweet tannins and a full-bodied, substantial mouthfeel. This is a mouth-coating, teeth-staining, impressively endowed Cabernet with no hard edges. Enjoy it over the next 10-15 years."

Frazier Merlot
A supple Merlot with structure and balance. Made from 100% free run juice. This is a Cab lovers Merlot!
2010 Frazier Merlot
Aromas of black cherry, rose petals and white tea invite you in for a taste of this lush wine. With only 85 cases produced from 2.5 acres of hillside vines you can imagine the intensity and depth of this vastly under-appreciated varietal. This wine coats your mouth and explodes on the palate. Juicy, ripe, and perfectly balanced with tons of red and black fruit and lovely purity. It is unapologetically appealing and will only continue to develop with time. If I do say so myself, this is probably one of our best Merlots produced to date.

2012 Frazier Dutton Ranch Chardonnay
Made from 30 year old Wente Clone vines this wine is full of complexity but never heavy or tiring on the palate. Aromas of fresh cut flowers, pineapple, lychee, honey, and hints of lemon entice on the nose of this bright Chardonnay. The palate is a showcase for more of the same. Luscious pure tropical fruit and light citrus flavors emerge from the glass, all backed up by vibrant acidity. A streak of minerality is shown throughout the palate which gives way to a long creamy finish, what feels like a minute plus. Though this Chardonnay has wonderful mid weight to it you won’t find big aromas of oak or malolactic notes. The fruit is the star here and there is plenty of vibrancy and purity to it.

2009 Frazier Cabernet Franc
Cabernet Franc from Coombsville is about as good as it gets. The mineral rich volcanic soils, cool temperatures, and long growing season make this varietal a favorite.
This Cabernet Franc has a lifting bouquet of highly perfumed floral aromatics. There is a bit of dark cherry, wild herbs, and a hint of dark underlying minerality. On the palate, pronounced, smooth tannins give way to flavors of raspberry, black tea, cherry, and wild herbs. The finish is lengthy and leaves you wanting more. We like Cabernet Franc young, as the pure fruit and fresh fruit aromas are not to be missed. Fans of this varietal also know how it will evolve over the next 5-7 years in the cellar. Recommended drinking 2012- 2020.

2009 Frazier Petit Verdot
In winemaking, a small addition of Petit Verdot adds wonder to the color and structure of a Bordeaux blend. This Petit Verdot, with 10% each of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot turns the impact of Petit Verdot on its head! This is a wine full of dark chewy berries with wild herbs, and loads of powerful tannin. As large framed and rich as this wine is, it maintains balance and complexity the entire way through. While we recommend decanting for a few hours as a youngster, this wine should hold nicely if stored properly. Recommended drinking 2013- 2023.
